Having a bit of experience in After Effects, duplicating the storyboard psd and arranging a tiled series of zoomed in layers, it was nice and easy to arrange the rough timings.
I found a handy little fade in and out expression here and after swiftly copying and pasting it onto each layer, it didn’t take too long to whip up this animatic.
